A Glimpse Inside the FIFA eWorld Cup

Bright lights, big screens and a few days of emotion is what the world sees. Yet somewhere hiding in a corner or roaming around an arena floor focusing on little details, are the people who made it happen.  Behind the scenes our team of young, hardworking individuals from Gallafilz GmbH have been named the lead agency of a competition for the worlds powerhouse organization, FIFA. Branded as “The Esports Company” we spend the year planning, organizing and executing the FIFA eWorld Cup and FIFA eClub World Cup. August 2nd-4th was the showcase at the end of a long road The Esports Company has been traveling for the past 8 years.

The story has been told, through three days of gameplay Msdossary of Saudi Arabia emerged victorious. Crowds cheered, and confetti fell as the newly crowned champion hoisted his trophy for the world to see. A picture-perfect ending to a hard-fought season long battle. Although it does not cross the minds of all people, a select few will wonder; how did we get to this point? Who is responsible for making the thoughts and dreams around these events a reality?

From competition and event management to player communications, media and PR, we are the group of people who work in cooperation with FIFA and EASPORTS to bring the FIFA community an event everyone is proud to be a part of. The 2018 season was no exception. After months of preparation, our team was blown away by sheer amazement as we took our first steps inside The O2 arena. Stations stacked on top one another looking as if they were floating high above the floor and lights dazzling down from the rafters above, awaiting the much-anticipated kick off of the FIFA eWorld Cup. The growth from just a single year before was undeniable as we looked around the arena with excitement.

Throughout the years The Esports Company has travelled the globe, from Los Angeles to Rio de Janeiro to Dubai bringing live FIFA tournaments to as many places as possible. However, through all these years of travel, there has never been a location or event which compared to the massive undertaking of the 2018 season. With more than 20 million participants from around the world, the Grand Final event needed, not only, to provide the highest level of competition for players, but also exciting entertainment for all fans involved within the FIFA and esports communities.

When the final whistle of the 2018 FIFA eWorld Cup had blown a sense of pride washed over us all. Positive feedback was flowing in, complimenting the efforts of those involved. One couldn’t help but be proud of what had been accomplished.  With every season we will continue to grow and learn from the years before. Taking in what worked and what didn’t, listening to all feedback both positive and negative. Doing everything in our power to continually grow and evolve. Always striving to accomplish the one goal, of providing the FIFA community with the event they truly deserve.
